Getting up in the morning and looking trough the window it looked like another day of storm skiing was upon us. After phoning around a little bit we decided we wanted blue skies so we headed west. The destinations of choice would be either Kaprun or Saalbach-Hinterglemm.

Since Jan spend a lot of time there this season and Kaprun was prone to a lot of wind we decided for Saalbach. Again it turned out to be the best choice we could have made. Bluebird powder. Hundreds of possible runs….again the possibilities, endless. And to our surprise almost no freerides. It was perfect for a few powder shots so I took the big lens with me 🙂

Even today I still have a smile on my face from it and according to the weather forecast the next snow storm is already brewing.
I also got a Message form our lost 😛 friends from the other side of the Dachstein. They were filming in the backcountry building two awesome kickers for the untouched film project. You can read more about that here. From what I see the shooting seems to have gone really well. And so the powder-tagline for the end of this weekend was:

PS: On the technological side I used my phones dictation capabilities to write these last two posts… Quite surprised it’s working this well just out of the box… Google you never cease to amaze me with your com- and incompetence … Now I just need a name for my little secretary XD… no wait the other iditios name there digital server based cluster computing services like people 😛
