After returning from the Stubai Opening and all the surrounding mayhem except for a little detour to Soriška Planina I have had to work a lot and haven’t had time to post. I was organizing a event for skiing slovenian skiresorts on the topic of Infrastructure called ALPIN and I am happy that it was very sucessfull. After almost 3 months of work it all went as planned and the resorts and the Austrian companies (the who is who of the Alpine industriy, from Dopplmayer and Leitner all the way to Koch Planing)were happy. We even got a ton of PR and important guests. All in all it was a great success, one I am very happy about.
But that was last week so on we go off to new adventures. Namely it is time to return to Innsbruck to get some use out of my
since there will be fresh snow :). The forecast looks great and I will be doing a little bit of testing of a few new apps for security that the Austrian emergency rescue is deploying. The most notable one is going to be by the Tirol Bergrettung (Emergency rescue Tirol)
The second is going to be one for Stubais “powder offensive”. Tracking tools for your runs so you don´t get lost on the new free ride trails developed by THE POWDER DEPARTMENT from
Freeridecenter Stubai

Also while being in Innsbruck again I will be attending the ALPINMESSE. A fair directed at outdoor enthusiasts with tons of workshops for anything to creating an emergency Bivac to telling a heli how to land on a glacier in high wind.
The fun starts on Friday so stay tuned 🙂
